Deon is a great coach and his team are solid training!

Came for the open mat. Good energy, very competitive, still friendly enough to feel welcoming. Would train here again.

Coming from someone with no prior training experience, I couldn’t say enough good things about this gym or Coach Deon. Welcoming environment and a group of guys held to the highest standard.

Great training environment very clean and all of the instructors are very qualified best bjj gym in Toledo!!!

Sisterhood Event Deon did a great job with the self defense class. He made sure each participant was pair with one of his students. I appreciated how he provided practical techniques and rationales for each event. There was more than ample practice time for each skill taught. Lastly, Deon set aside time for a question and answer session at the end.

I've known Coach Deon for over 4 years and have competed at his tournaments every year. He's got a great group of guys and girls. No other team around is doing what brasa is doing. The love and drive they provide is unmatched. Love stopping in for promotions, seminars, etc.

You can’t go wrong training under professor Thompson. A very good competitor great teacher and outstanding friend!!!!
