Sisterhood Event Deon did a great job with the self defense class. He made sure each participant was pair with one of his students. I appreciated how he provided practical techniques and rationales for each event. There was more than ample practice time for each skill taught. Lastly, Deon set aside time for a question and answer session at the end.

I stopped by for a drop in while on a business trip and Professor Thompson and his team were fantastic. The class was welcoming and I enjoyed learning and rolling with Professor Thompson’s students!

Gold standard/Top notch BJJ and coaching. More than just a gym, it’s the culture that’s built here that makes you want to stay. Everyone pushes each other to get better everyday and is welcoming. It’s a second family.

Great gym to be a part of!! The women have really grown from when I first started. It is nice being able to come to the gym and have other women to train with. Everyone is nice and we’re like a family! I have met some of my closest friends training here. I like that self-defense is a part of the curriculum because as a woman, it is very important to have those skills. Coach Deon and his upper belts are very knowledgeable and more than happy to help whenever questions arise. Definitely worth checking out!

I've known Coach Deon for over 4 years and have competed at his tournaments every year. He's got a great group of guys and girls. No other team around is doing what brasa is doing. The love and drive they provide is unmatched. Love stopping in for promotions, seminars, etc.

You can’t go wrong training under professor Thompson. A very good competitor great teacher and outstanding friend!!!!
